Hendey Uddh utu (Black mashroom vegetable Dish)

Ingredients

 

Mushrooms– 250gm

Finely chopped onions – 1 medium

Tomato chopped – ½ Cup

Capsicum (Cubed) – 1small

Chilli powder – ½ table spoon

Turmeric powder – ¼ table spoon

Mustard– 1tsp spoon

cumin seeds – 1tsp spoon

Ginger and garlic paste – 3table spoon

Red chilli powder – 2 tsp (According to taste)

Oil – 2table spoon

Salt – According to taste

Coriander leaf – Small chopped

Green chillies (Slit) – 4 or accordingly

Garam masala powder – 1tsp

Tamarind (Emli) - 1

INSTRUCTIONS

·        Heat the pan with 2 tablespoon of oil and then add chopped mushrooms. Sauté until the mushrooms are fried. Set aside the fired mushrooms in a plate.

·        Heat the pan again and add mustard & cumin seeds and then add green chillies. After stirring for few seconds add onion and capsicum, fry till the onions turn translucent. Then add ginger and garlic paste, stir well till the raw smells is gone. After that keep on adding masalas one by one such as garam masala powder, red chilli powder, turmeric powder. Sauté all the ingredients properly then add chopped tomatoes, fry till the tomatoes softens. Add salt according to taste and cook for a minute.

·        Now add tamarind mix and cook properly for a minute. Add the fried mushrooms along with 1cup of water and cook it for 10 minutes in low flame.

·        Garnish with chopped coriander leaves.  

        Your dish ‘Hende uddh utu’ is ready to be served.
